Fred Astaire Madison Ballroom Dance Lessons

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Madison opened in January of 2008, the realization of a life-long dream for its owners, Peter and Linda Goethche.

The studio is deeply invested in the Madison Community, providing educational services to both our students at the studio as well as to the community at large. The studio is very active in community projects, taking the joys of ballroom dancing into local elementary and high schools and other public venues. The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Madison is a proud sponsor of many area charities and service organizations.

We are a proud member of the Middleton Chamber of Commerce, and have won the "Best Dance Instructor" Award from Wisconsin Bride Magazine 3 years in a row!

We are well aware of the wide array of advantages of ballroom dancing, ranging from increased health to a more active social life. Our mission is to share our knowledge and expertise, introducing people in the Madison area to these benefits through community outreach and exciting events. Dancing is a fun pastime that can be enjoyed by anyone in a wide variety of different situations. From formal affairs to backyard barbeques, dancing is the perfect entertainment!
